Whilst at both London and Whipsnade zoos, I did some drawings of the animals using pencil and fine-liner pen. I didn’t get much time to draw them, because it was windy and raining both times, so I did what I could, and these are what I managed to do:

I am pleased with these drawings because they feel like a visual starting point for my project, and it has made me feel like I have ideas and more motivation to get on with planning and creating my ideas for my illustrations.

Doing these drawings will help me to grow on my ideas for my illustrations, as I can use these drawings as a base to progress with my ideas for my illustrations. It also helps me to think of the behaviour of the animals and how they would go about their human like tasks in the narrative as I want to capture the human and animal relationship as one.
